Meatballs in tomato soup

Makan ngan angel hair spaghetti...

Sejak 2 menjak..my kids prefer western jek..alahaiiii..layannn! Resipi ambik dr umah Ina@Hana..

  • Untuk meatballs
  • 500 gm daging lembu kisar (jun guna ayam)
  • 1/2 teaspoon serbuk jintan manis
  • 1/2 teaspoon serbuk ketumbar
  • 1/2 teaspoon serbuk cili
  • 2 genggam breadcrumbs
  • 1 telur - ltk 1/4 biji telur je
  • 1 tablespoon daun oregano kering/fresh
  • 1 tablespoon daun rosemarry dicincang
  • garam
  • 1 teaspoon serbuk blackpepper
  • Untuk tomato sos
  • 1 tin tomato cincang
  • 1 biji bawang besar di cincang
  • 1 bawang putih dicincang
  • 1 teaspoon daun oregano kering
  • garam
  • Untuk dibakar
  • mozarella cheese
  • grated parmesan

Cara-cara
  1. Sediakan meatballs: Campur semua bahan dalam bekas besar. Gaul sebati. Bentuk2 kan meatballs sebesar bola sepak tenis sehingga habis. Dalam kuali, panaskan sedikit minyak (kite guna dlm 5 camca besar) dan goreng semua meatballs sekaligus. Goreng lebih kurang 5 minit on all sides. - hana tk goreng, tp bakar suhu 180 lam 15min.
  2. Sediakan sos tomato: Panaskan sedikit minyak dlm kuali/periuk. Goreng bawang besar dan bawang putih hingga layu. Masukkan tomato, oregano dan garam. Gaul sebati dan biarkan mendidih. Tutup api.
  3. Pindahkan sos tomato ke dalam bekas yang sesuai untuk di masukkan dalam oven. Susun meatballs di dalam sos tomato tersebut dan taburkan mozarella dan grated parmesan cheese di atasnya. Bakar pada suhu 220′C selama lebih kurang 15 minit atau sehingga bahagian atas nya bewarna kekuningan. Siap

Fruit pastry (guess what? i have cheese in it!)


Resipi ni dr umah Gert tp jun dah ubah sket , letak cheese..hehe. actually, ade leftover creamcheese tuk topping kek aritu..ingat nak buat carrot cake tp x cukup carrot plak. tengok plak all these fruit ade dlm fridge...x mkn nnti x fresh lah kan? end up, buat kek ni tp masukkan skalik cream cheese tu dlm kek..ni respi asal...

1 1/2 cup of flour

1 cup of sugar + 2 tbsp (for sprinkling on the fruits)

3/4 stick of butter (my version-jun kurangkan n masukkan cream cheese topping yg lebih tu)

2 tbsp of sour cream

1 tsp of baking powder

1 tsp of vanilla

1 tsp of lemon or orange peel

3 eggs

500 grms of fruits chunks (apricots, pears, cherries, strawberries, kiwi, orange etc)


* Place cuts fruits in a strainer and sprinkle with 2 tbsp of sugar

* Pre-heat oven to 350 degree F. Butter a baking pan.

* Cream butter, sugar and sour cream together until creamy.

* Add eggs one at a time and beat well.

* Add vanilla, flour, baking powder and zest until everything combined

* Pour batter into a baking pan and smooth the top. Place fruits on top

* Bake for 50-60 minutes or until cake is done.

* Cool and serve

S.C.A.R.Y cookies....(Almost Famous Amos Chocolate Chunk Cookies)

One of my coming raya cookies...boleh kan? hehe...SCARY cookies? hehe..dats how i feel bout this cookies..it stand for Super Crunchy And Really Yummy! scary too since i ate 5 already...resipi import dr umah Rima kt S'pore tu, hehe...so sape2 nak resipi kna pergi kat umah Rima ni sbb jun x sempat nak type lah since from last week i'm having problem with my uncle streamyx n this Bband is giving me headache as well..so slow! nak update tersangatlah mencabar jiwa..haha...so, harap maaf ye...


Orange raisin cake

Resipi dr umah Gert tp mine kekurangan raisin..hehe..
1 3/4 cup of flour
1/4 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp of salt
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup of raisins - chopped
1 tbsp of orange zest
1/3 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
125 grm of butter - melted
1 cup of plain yogurt
2 eggs - lightly beaten
Icing sugar for dusting.
1) Pre-heat oven to 325 degree F and prepare the baking pan.
2) Sift flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
3) Add in sugar, raisin and orange zest and stir well.
4) Combined orange juice, melted butter, yogurt and eggs until well mixed.
5) Pour the eggs mixture into the flour and stir well with a big spoon.
6) Pour into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
7) Bake in the oven for 40-45 min until golden brown or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
8) Set aside for 3 min before turning out into a cooling rack.
9) Dust with icing sugar before serving.

Beef, cashew n basil stir fry


Siakap stim asam boi

Resipi jun ambik dr umah Fadillah ni...mmg betul kata dia, sempoi jek resipi ni tp mmg sedap..hehe...

1 ekor ikan siakap
1/2 inci halia (mayang panjang)
5 ulas bwg putih (belah 2 then ketuk)
2 sdb sos tiram
1 sdt stok ayam
3- 5 biji asam boi (isinya cincang kasar)
1 sdt lada sulah
2 sdb kicap cair
1 sdb minyak bijan
2 sdb minyak masak untuk menumis
sedikit garam (jun x letak..dh cukup masin for me)

Cara :
1. Ikan dibersihkan dan dikelar.Masukkan dlm pinggan tahan panas.
2. Panaskan minyak goreng bwh putih sampai garing.
3. masukkan sos tiram,stok ayam,lada sulah dan kicap cair.
4. Matikan api.Tuangkan atas ikan.
5. Tabur halia,asam boi ,garam dan minyak bijan dan kukus selama 15 minit (dgn api besar)
6. Masak.Hidangkan dengan daun ketumbar

Ikan bakar tomyam

Ni respi dr buku chef kak Liza ni..tp jun ambik resipi ni dr umah Maz....mr streamyx tu ade problem..terpaksa guna broadband yg mmg dh lembab so..arini lembab betul lah nk upload gambo..pastu x leh nk cnp plak..adehhh! tensen sungguh..dah ler masa ciput j leh online lately...

1 ekor ikan siakap
2 sudu besar pes tomyam
5 helai daun limau purut
1 sudu besar jus limau nipis/kasturi-jun guna lemon
1 biji tomato-belah 6-jun guna baby tomato yg kecik2 tu..8-10 biji
aluminium foil

bahan kisar:-
2 cili merah
5 cili api
3 batang serai
3 ulas bawang merah
2 ulas bawang putih
gula n sos ikan-ikut maz, tambah sendiri..

gaul semua bahan kisar dan bahan2 lain. letak ikan dalam foil bersama bahan2 kisar tadi n daun limau purut. bungkus n bakar dalam kuali atas dapur selama 30 min. (jun bakar dalam oven..hehe)

Udang wangi

Resipi ni jun import dr umah Ayu kat S'pore tu...

300gm medium sized prawns (jun guna udang beso..)
handful dried prawns-soaked n blend/pounded
3 tbsp chili paste
3 bird eyes chillies-sliced
3 stalks curry leaves
5 garlic-chopped thinly
1/4 c water
oil
a few drops sesame oil
salt n sugar to taste

heat oil...saute garlic n curry leaves. add in pounded dried prawns, chilli paste n bird eyes chillies. add in prawns n sesame oil. stir well. add in salt n sugar to taste.

*Mine...added 1 egg..tu sbb nampak different sket from ayu's.

Apam gandum

Resipi dr umah CMG...mmg sempoi tp my kids suka..worth it la! hehe.

500gm tepung gandum
3/4 cawan brown sugar
2 cwn air
11gm yis + 1/2 cwn air-larutkan
kelapa parut putih+sedikit garam

gaul tepung rata ngan gula perang. tuang bancuhan yis n kacau rata. masukkan air sket2 sambil gaul rata, x berbintil2.
lengser loyang bulat berukuran 10" dengan sket minyak. tuang adunan n biar satu jam hingga adunan naik.
kukus selama 40-45min. sejukkan n hidang bersama kelapa parut tadi.

Devil's food choc cake? Mine..almost...d idea is same!


Jun wat a slightly different cake sebenarnye...ade rasa mocha sket pada kek tu, d rest lebih kurang aje..interested in frosting dia tu...mula2 ngan cream cheese topping then ngan choc ganache..wah! dgn texture kek yg lembut n moist...perghhh! cannot tahan...i even had one for breakfast today! kna start my diet all over again....ekekke. got the recipe from Edina n Rima.. dia org wat sebijik cake..jun turn it into cuppies...kurang sket rasa bersalah kalau mkn, hahaha....copy from edina's..

1 cup all purpose flour (tepung gandum biasa)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
65 gram butter ( i didnt even measure, agak2 je..)
1 large egg - size A (i used 2eggs, size C)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup buttermilk (homemade: 1/4 cup milk added with a few drops of distilled vinegar (cuka biasa), leave to rest for about 20 minutes
1/2 cup warm water

Methods:
Set your oven at 170C (i set mine at 160C)
Prepare your cake tins, I used my casserole.
Sieve flour, cocoa powder, bicarbonate soda, salt, and set aside.
Beat butter with sugars until light and fluffy, add eggs.
When all well incorporated add the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder etc) and alternate with liquid ingredients (buttermilk + warm water) in three portions, last incorporate the vanilla extract.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until just cooked


Cream Cheese Frosting
250 g Philly cheese (i made only half-125g)
125 g butter (i use about 60g)
1 cup icing sugar (i used 1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
juice of a squeezed slice of lemon, to rid the cheese taste (i didnt put)

Beat the cheese and butter, just until creamy, add the icing sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.


Chocolate Ganache
200 ml double cream with at least 30% fat content
250 g dark chocolate, chopped finely
a pinch of salt

In a double boiler, warm the cream until just at boiling point, add the chocolate and salt and stir, when all chocolate is melted, remove from the heat and continue stirring until all well mixed.

Wait for the cake to cool completely, spread the cream cheese frosting and pour the ganache on top.

Baked macaroni with bolognese sauce


Inspirasi dari Happy Homebaker....ni resipi btul2 copy dr sana, hehe....

2 tablespoons oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs (optional)
200g minced beef
1 tomato, chopped into small chunks
1 1/2 cups ready-made pasta sauce (I used Leggo's)
1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust according to taste)
1 teaspoon freshly grounded black pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
150g macaroni
100g shredded mozzarella cheese


Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Lightly grease (I used olive oil) an ovenproof dish. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the garlic. Let it cook on low heat for 1 minute. Add the dried mixed herbs (if using). Cook for another 1 minute.
  2. Add the minced beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking up lumps as it cooks, until well browned. Add in the tomatoes, stir and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the pasta sauce. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat slightly and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar and dried parsley (if using).
  4. In the meantime, cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain well.
  5. Spread half of the cooked macaroni evenly into the prepared dish. Top with half of the bolognese sauce, then the remaining macaroni, followed by the remaining sauce. Sprinkle the top with some extra dried parsley, if desired. Top with shredded cheese and bake for 15~20 minutes, until the top turns brown and bubbly. Serve warm.

Red bean buns (roti kacang merah)

Kuih gulung @ ketayap

Resipi senang dr umah CMG...

300 g tepung gandum
4 camca besar tepung ubi
1 camca teh paste pandan
650 ml air
50 ml minyak masak
1/2 camca teh garam
Inti kelapa secukupnya

Cara membuatnya :-)
  1. Satukan tepung gandum, tepung ubi dan garam, gaul rata. Tuang air sedikit demi sedikit dan gaul hingga sebati, kacau dgn whisk hingga rata.
  2. Masukkan pandan paste dan minyak masak, kacau hingga sebati dan tapis. Biar 10 minit. Panaskan non-stick pan. Sapu sedikit minyak dan tuang 1/3 cawan adunan dan ratakan.
  3. Masak hingga permukaan kuih dadar berubah pucat, guna api perlahan. Alih ke dalam pinggan, sudu kan satu camca teh inti kelapa dan gulung kemas. Buat hingga siap.

Chocolate swirl cheesecake

Resipi import dr US ni..dr umah Gert...asalnya strawberry swirl cheesecake bars..tp jun swirl guna choc n wat sebijik kek..tukar nama sket la..ni respi asal ye..

1 ¼ cups graham crumbs
¼ cup butter, melted
2 packet (8 oz each) I used low fat cream cheese, softened at room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp flour
3 tbsp of lemon juice
2 eggs
1/3 cup strawberry jam

1. Preheat oven to 325ºF. Grease and line an 8” x 8” square baking with parchment paper with leaving an overhang on both side (for easy removing you slices later)
2. Mix crumbs and butter together and press firmly into bottom of the pan. Set it aside.
3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and lemon juice in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating on low speed after each addition, just until blended. Pour over crust.
4. Heat up strawberry jam slightly in the microwave. Gently drop jam by small spoonfuls over top of batter. Cut through batter several times with knife for marble effect.
5. Bake 40 min. or until centre is set. Cool. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight before cutting it.

Malas nk buat? x p..yg ni paling senang..stock-up frozen foods mcm ni..bila nk mkn goreng aje...mmg sedap...cicah ngan sos cili + mayo..tp x leh selalu ye...kang korang salahkan penimbang tu x betul n bg reason sume dah lama..baju n sluar nk kna beli baru..sebenarnye dh x muat (mcm akak!) hehe...
Korang bese masak ni? Ni lah lauk paling senang dlm donia selain beli kt kedai...ni kira kalau nk masak jugak n malas nk kuar...sbb mmg dah malas kan? tp nk mkn jugak? n nk cepat? boleh jugaklah bg reason tu..goreng telur mata n siram kicap manis masa tgh panas2 tu..makan ngan nasi panas2...dok depan tv layan movie k? sah2 tambah nasi..hehe...tp, my kids suka makan ni..(boleh lah kata akak x d la malas kan?) hahahha!

Go western...food! Lasagna n creamy chicken soup

Lasagna...lazania...hehe....pestaim wat sendiri sbb takut kids x suka makan..me, pernah mkn dolu2 tp gerun eh nk mkn ni..cheeeeeseeeee byk...ekeke....nway, requested by kids jugak ni..verdict? diorang mmg antoo western, surelah suka....isk3. resipi dr umah Hana..dia wat beef, jun wat chicken...

  • 8-10 keping kulit lasagna
  • 300g daging cincang
  • 1/2 biji bawang besar holland - cincang
  • 2 ulas bwg putih - cincang
  • 1 tin sos spaghetti original
  • 3 sudu besar tomato puree@ 2 biji tomato cincang
  • 1/2 biji carrot - potong dadu (optional)
  • 3 biji cendawan butang - hiris nipis
  • 1 sk oregano
  • Air
  • minyak zaitun
  • garam, gula secukup rasa
  • keju mozarella secukupnyer
  • UNTUK SOS PUTIH
  • 1/2 cawan tepung gandum
  • 2 1/4 cawan susu segar
  • 1/3 cawan keju pilihan
  • 3 sudu besar butter
  • lada hitam, garam
Cara-cara
  • Rebus kulit lasagna instant mengikut arahan peket. (hana rebus dengan sedikit minyak) Tapi ada jenis lasagna yg tak perlu direbus. Kemudian ketepikan.
  • Panaskan minyak zaitun, tumis bawang putih dan bawang besar hingga naik bau. Masukkan daging. Kacau hingga daging bertukar warna. Masukkan pula tomato puree@tomato cincang. Masak hingga tomato hancur. Kemudian masukkan sos spaghetti, carrot, mushroom, oregano, garam dan gula secukup rasa. Masukkan sedikit air jika kuah terlalu pekat. Masak hingga mendidih dan ketepikan.
  • Utk membuat sos putih , satukan semua bahan dan kacau di atas api yg kecil hingga pekat.
  • Sediakan mangkuk yg bersesuaian utk membakar. Susun kulit lasagna, kemudian sapu rata sos daging... sapu pula sos putih dan taburkan keju mozarella (jika inginkan rasa cheese yg lebih pada setiap lapisan. Jika tak nak ltk pong tk mengapa.) Lapiskan lagi dengan kulit lasagna dan ulangi proses tadi hingga habis. dan last skali adalah sos putih. taburkan keju dan sedikit daun parsley jika suka.
  • Bakar selama 40-60min atau hingga permukaan lasagna keperang2an. Boleh dimakan sejuk atau panas.

Selingan....wat chicken filet goreng tepung (segera jek!)....with some buttered n mushroom rice...x ambik gambo plak..

Ni starter kiranya...creamy chicken soup.. from umah Dita nih...dia buat puff pastry soup...jun punyer, without d puff ye...

2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp finely chopped onions
2 tbsp all purpose flour
4 cups chicken broth
Chicken, cut into tiny pieces, if you like
Mushroom
Carrots, cut into tiny bites
Salt and Pepper to taste
3 tbsp whipping cream (optional)

Directions :
1. Heat some butter. Saute garlic and the onions, then whisk in the flour to make a smooth roux.
2. Slowly add chicken broth while stirring. Simmer, stir often, till thickened. Add chicken, carrots and mushroom. Bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cream to taste. Remove from heat.

Sweet n sour chicken drumstick

Recipe..from my dearest fren's kitchen....Gert. jun x wat sos dia tu...makan ngan nasi butter..

Ingredients for marinate
2 pounds of drumstick (about 8 pieces)
1 tsp of paprika
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of lemon salt
1/2 tsp of pepper flakes
3 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients for the dipping sauce/glaze
1 tsp of orange zest
1/2 cup of orange juice
1/4 of water
2 tbsp of honey
2 tbsp of soy sauce
1/4 tsp of coriander powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp of cornstarch + 2 tbsp of water
Some finely chopped mint

1) Clean drumsticks and remove skin or any access fat and marinate for at least 2 hours.
2) Line a baking pan with some aluminium foil and brush it with some oil. Line the drumsticks on the pan and bake in a pre-heated 400 degree oven for at least an hour or until the drumsticks is cook and golden brown. Half way through the baking turn the drumsticks for even browning.
3) To prepare the dipping sauce combined all the ingredients except the cornstarch in a small saucepan and bring to boil. Cook until the sauce reduce to half and add in the cornstarch solutions for thickening. Bring to boil and remove from heat.
4) Add in the chopped mint.
5) To serve you can either brush the drumsticks with the dipping sauce or just serve it on the side.

Crispy anchovies in honey lime sauce

Yg ni mmg kita suka...copy dr umah Alongroz..along lak ambik dr umah cik Mimi...tp kita ikut resipi yg along dh edit ye....krup krap krup krap....mkn gitu aje pon bolehhh...

250g split and cleaned Anchovies
1 cup Tapioca Flour
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
4 Dried Chillies - cut into sections
1 Onion - halved and sliced thinly
6 Bird-eye Chillies - chopped
2 Calamansi Limes - squeezed for juice
3 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Water (HomeKreation: I skipped)..me too
1 tbsp Fish Sauce

HomeKreation Addition:
Cashew nuts, sesame seeds, curry leaves

METHOD:
1. Rinse anchovies and soak for 10-15 minutes.
Drain dry in a plastic colander then pat completely dry with several layers of kitchen paper towels.
Toss in tapioca flour.

2. Heat some oil in a wok.
Shake off excess tapioca flour from the anchovies and deep-fry until golden brown and crispy.
Dish out and drain from oil.

3. Heat the sesame oil in a clean wok, fry dried chillies, onion and bird’s eye chillies for a while.
Combine lime juice, honey, water and fish sauce and add to the pan; bring to a boil until mixture turns frothy and thick.
Return prefried anchovies to the honey sauce. Stir-fry briskly until well combined. Dish out and serve.

Soft bun wif top filling


Cakkkk! hehe.....kita wat bun ni (leh guna any resipi bun yg u ols suka ye...). kita letak campuran filament sticks perasa crabmeat yg dihancurkan then campur ngan mayo n taburan parsley....bila terlebih rajin sket, kita letak cheese kat atas tu..hihi....

Chocolate chip cookies

Maap bebanyak...tgh x d mood nk blogging..tp ade lah sbb dia ye, bukan saje2 x d mood.nk posting pon alahai.....tp tgh rajin masak ni..camne ek? nk stop cam syg plak...so, bg masa kt diri sendiri dulu ye...selamat pose, selamat ariraya..hahaha. (kdg2 mmg sengal...ngeh3)

Asam pedas melaka

Even jun dh mmg ade resipi asam pedas melaka..tetap nk try resipi lain jugak..hehe. kali ni ambik dr sini...

Bahan ini dikisar:

25 tangkai cili kering
1 labu bawang besar
5 biji bawang merah
1 inci halia
1 sudu besar jintan manis
½ sudu teh lada hitam
1 inci kunyit hidup
3 ulas bawang putih

Bahan tumis :

1 labu bawang besar dihiris halus
½ sudu teh biji sawi(jika mahu)
½ sudu teh halba campur
5 tangkai daun kari (leraikan)
5 keping ikan terubuk (mengikut citarasa)
3 sudu besar asam jawa campurkan dengan ¾ cawan air
2 biji tomato - potong 4
1 batang terung - potong
10 biji kacang bendi (boleh digantikan dengan kangkung)
2 bunga kantan - dipecahkan
2 Sudu Besar Gula (secukup rasa)
1 sudu besar garam
½ sudu teh serbuk perasa
Sedikit Minyak Masak
Air mengikut sukatan anda

Cara Menyediakan

Panasakan kuali dan masukkan minyak. Tumis bawang hiris hingga kuning dan masukkan bahan tumis yang lain,biarkan naik bau.Masukkan bahan kisar dan garam, tumis hingga pecah minyak.
Masukkan air asam jawa dan kacau sebentar hingga naik minyak. Masukkan ikan dan sebatikan bersama bunga kantan. Masukkan air, serbuk perasa, bendi dan bahan lain kecuali tomato. Tutup dan biar renih pada api kecil hingga mula pekat dan masukkan tomato. Biarkan 5 minit dan hidangkan..

Tambahan:
Belacan juga boleh ditambah dengan bahan kisar. Untuk menyedapkannya goreng belacan dengan sedikit minyak terlebih dahulu. Gunakan 1 sd besar untuk resipi ini. Boleh juga dimasukkan daun kesum


Cadangan Hidangan:
Sesuai dimakan dengan nasi putih, roti atau roti canai.

Harum manis

Dah lama nak buat..resipi pon dh ntah brape kali ambik n simpan..hehe. this one, copy from umah Noreen. mcm apam mentega jek cuma ade tambah pisang....

300gm gula melaka
350ml air
3 biji telur
200gm gula pasir
350gm tepung gandum
1/2 sudu teh baking powder
1 sudu teh soda bikarbonat
1/4 sudu teh garam
1 sudu makan esen vanila
50gm mentega - dicairkan
8-9 biji pisang raja - dihiris bulat

cara:
  1. griskan acuan2 kecil dan ketepikan
  2. ayakkan tepung gandum, baking powder, gara, dan soda bikarbonat. ketepikan
  3. masak gula melaka dengan air sehingga larut. tapis dan sejukkan
  4. dengan menggunakan whisker pukul telur dan gula sehingga kembang
  5. masukkan adunan tepung sedikit demi sedikit sambil dikacau rata dengan menggunakan spatula
  6. kemudian masukkan esen vanila, mentega cair dan gula melaka
  7. kacau sehingga adunan sebati
  8. tuangkan tiga suku penuh adunan ke dalam acuan
  9. letakkan hirisan pisang di atasnya
  10. kukus selama 15-20 min atau sehingga masak

Marvellous ayam goreng bijan

Resipi jun dpt kat sini....

4 ketul paha ayam
1 sudu kecil tepung jagung
3 keping biskut - tumbuk halus
1 sudu kecil bijan
2 sudu kecil sos tiram
2 sudu kecil kicap
1 cawan minyak masak
Garam, gula dan serbuk lada sulah secukupnya



Cara Menyediakan:

1. Ayam dibuang tulang dan kulit kemudian dipotong kecil sebelum
dibersihkan dan dituskan.

2. Gaulkan isi ayam dengan sos tiram, kicap, garam, gula dan serbuk
lada sulah, kemudian perap selama dua jam.

3. Tepung jagung dicampur dengan biskut tumbuk dan bijan sebelum
digaul hingga rata dengan ayam.

4. Panaskan minyak dan goreng hingga masak.

Dari majalah saji tahun 2009..adunan ni mmg banyak giler..pandai2 ler adjust ikut brape org nk mkn yek..

800gm air daun pandan
400gm tepung gandum
sedikit garam
500gm santan
450gm gula
6 biji telur
50gm serbuk badam
bijan secukupnya

masukkan tepung kedalam mangkuk diikuti bahan2 lain n gaul rata n sebati. kisar adunan hingga halus.
panaskan loyang n tuangkan adunan kedalam acuan. tabur bijan n bakar adunan hingga masak.

Sup ikan cendana

Resipi dr majalah Sedap...

300gm isi ikan siakap, potong dadu
100gm cendawan segar
1/2 ulas bawang putih-giling
1 biji bawang merah-giling
6 biji cili merah-giling (jun letak sket j)
1/2 sudu teh kunyit-giling
2 helai daun salam
2 helai daun limau purut
1 cm lengkuas-titik
1 batang serai-titik
1500ml air
2 1/2 sudu teh garam
3/4 sudu teh serbuk pepper
1 3/4 sudu teh gula
3 biji cili padi
2 biji limau nipids-ambil jus
2 sudu makan minyak

tumis bawang putih, bawang merah, cili merah, kunyit, daun salam, daun limau, lengkuas serta serai hingga wangi. masukkan cendawan n kacau rata.
tuang air, biar mendidih. masukkan isi ikan, garam, pepper n gula. biar mendidih n masak. masukkan cili padi n jus limau nipis, rata.

Grilled salt n pepper squid

Resipi dr sini

  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb. cleaned/prepared calamari tubes, or enough for 2 people, fresh or frozen
  • 3/4 tsp. ground white pepper
  • 1 tsp. sea salt or regular salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried crushed chili
  • 1/3 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lime
  • optional: 1 Tbsp. fish sauce, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander, lightly chopped (for garnish)
  • Thai Sweet Chili Sauce to serve

Preparation:

  1. Using a knife, cut open the calamari tubes so that they lie flat.
  2. Rinse the calamari and place on a tea towel or absorbent paper. Pat them dry. Dry them as well as possible, otherwise the spice mixture won't stick.
  3. Cut the calamari lengthwise into strips (approx. 1 inch wide), and place in a mixing bowl.
  4. Drizzle the oil over the calamari, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
  5. Mix the dry spices together in a cup or small bowl, then sprinkle over the oiled calamari. Mix well until all the calamari strips are coated in the spices. Set aside to marinate while you heat up the grill.
  6. Lightly brush your grill with oil, then cook the calamari until edges curl up (some strips may curl completely into a circle) - this only takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes each side, depending on the heat of your grill. Cooking tips: Try not to overcook the calamari, or it will turn rubbery instead of tender. If your grill bars are too wide (so that the calamari might fall through), use a fish cage or place a piece of banana leaf (or foil) over the grill surface and cook over it.
  7. Place the calamari on a serving platter (if desired, over a bed of baby greens). Cut the 1/2 lime into wedges and squeeze over. Taste-test the calamari. If not salty enough, sprinkle over up to 1 Tbsp. fish sauce or a little more salt. If too salty for your taste, add more fresh-squeezed lime juice. Add a final sprinkling of fresh coriander.
  8. Serve with Thai Sweet Chili Sauce for dipping. Note that this dish can be served as is (for an appetizer), or with rice for a complete meal. ENJOY!

Phat makeua yao @ stir fried egg plants with thai basil

Resipi dr umah Tummy...sape suka terung, suka basil..mmg sedap...

6 Asian purple eggplants, cut into chunks
half a bunch of Thai basil, picked (about 1/2 a cup)
3 garlic cloves, chopped
3 bird chilies, chopped
2 tbs of palm sugar
dash of fish sauce*
1/2 cup of stock
* replace fish sauce for a vegetarian version

Cut eggplants and chop garlic and chilies.
Saute garlic and chilies with a little oil for a few seconds.
Throw in the eggplants pieces and fry in the fragrant garlic and chili oil for a minute.
Add stock and seasonings, cover and simmer til tender.
Finally add the Thai basil and check for seasonings.
Serve immediately as part of a Thai meal. Never judge the book by a cover, this is a great example! (agreed!..hehe)
