Watermelon sorbet

Ni buat atas permintaan...my 1st son tu suka sgt makan ni..tiap kali g mkn sushi...sure order ni. Siap tanya, mama leh wat x ni? so..mama dia pon survey ler kat tenet..dpt resipi ni dr sini...kira succeed ler sbb 1 container tu abis dia mkn..wahaha...

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cups watermelon

  1. 1Cook the sugar, water and lemon juice together, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. 2Remove from heat and chill.
  3. 3Cut up the watermelon and remove all seeds.
  4. 4Puree in a blender or food processor.
  5. 5Stir into chilled syrup.
  6. 6Freeze in an ice-cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  7. 7Pack into an airtight container and store in the freezer.

Lemon butter cake


Soft jek cake nih...dah ramai pon try resipi ni...resipi ni jun ambik kat umah Sonia

125g butter (I use 100g butter and 25g margarine)
100g sugar
1 lemon, finely grate the rind
2 large eggs
175g self-raising flour
4tbsp milk

Lemon glaze
3 tbsp sugar
1 lemon, extract juice
1 lemon, finely grate the rind

1. Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy.
2. Add in the eggs one by one, then add in lemon rind, mixing well.
3. Fold in the flour and milk, combine well.
4. Pour the mixture into a loaf tin lined with greaseproof paper.
5. Bake in pre-heated oven at 180C for 40mins.
6. Mix sugar and lemon juice and cook over low heat till sugar dissolved, add in lemon rind, set aside.
7. When cake done, remove cake from the oven and prick all over with a skewer.
8. Pour over the lemon glaze over the hot cake.
9. Ideally to leave cake to set overnight, to have better flavour.

Bahan-bahan ( 6 Orang Makan )

  • ( BAWAH ):-
  • 1 cawan tepung beras
  • 2 cawan santan
  • 2 cawan pisang yang dilenyek
  • 1/2 cawan gula
  • 2 sudu tepung kastard
  • ( ATAS ):-
  • 60 gm tepung gandum
  • 100 gm gula
  • 250 gm santan
  • 50 gm jus pandan
  • 1/2 sudu besar tepung jagung
  • 2 biji telur
  • Sedikit garam
  • Sedikit pewarna hijau

Cara-cara

  1. ( BAWAH ) - Satukan semua bahan di atas, kacau sebati.
  2. Kukus selama 20minit atau hingga masak.
  3. ( ATAS ) - Kacau telur bersama gula, kemudian masukkan pula bahan-bahan selebihnya.
  4. Kacau sebati, tapiskan.
  5. Tuang ke atas bahagian bawah tadi, kukus lagi selama 20minit atau hingga masak.
  6. ( UNTUK BAHAGIAN BAWAH, SAYA MASUKKAN SEDIKIT PEWARNA KUNING SUPAYA WARNANYA TIDAK KELIHATAN PUCAT. )

Kung Pao Chicken

Sedap ni..ai laik, ade gajus2 tu n cili kering pedas...recipe from here...i luv it!

16 ounces chicken breast
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced ginger
5 to 6 scallions
At least 10 dried red chilis
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1 tablespoon whole Sichuan peppercorns
At least one handful of dry roasted peanuts

For marinade:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

For sauce:
3 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon dark Soy sauce
1 teaspoon light Soy sauce
2 teaspoons dark rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon chicken stock or water


Cube chicken breast and mix in the marinade mixture. Let stand while you prepare the other ingredients.

If you haven't done so already, mince the garlic and peel and slice the ginger. Roughly chop the white parts of scallions, and thinly slice the green parts for garnish. Leave the dried chilis whole, or if you're really worried about seeds falling out, slice them in half and take out as many seeds as possible (wear gloves!)

In another bowl, mix together the ingredients for the sauce and set aside. (Note: Different brands of soy sauces vary in terms of saltiness, so taste your sauce. If it's too salty, add some sugar and water to dilute.)

Heat a wok with oil over high heat. Before the wok begins to smoke, add the chilis and Sichuan peppercorn. Stir-fry briefly until the chilis are slightly blistered and black and oil is slightly fragrant. Add chicken cubes and stir-fry 3 minutes.

Add garlic, ginger, and scallions, and stir-fry until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Pour in sauce and mix to coat the other ingredients. When the sauce is thickened and shiny, stir in peanuts. Mix to coat, and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.

Transfer to plates, garnish with thinly sliced scallions, and serve.

Nasi goreng nenas

nampak x menarik sgt tp rasa dia sedap...kita wat cukup sorang sepinggan sbb konon2 nk kurang sket makan...hahhaahaa...tp mcm x cukup plak..ni jun ambik resipi dr umah cik Mat ni tp beselah..dh smpai dapo sendiri, kita ubah suka ati..hehe. nway, tengkiu ye mat..bg inspirasi...

BAHAN-BAHANNYA :-)
3 cawan nasi semalam, dileraikan
1 biji bawang besar saiz sederhana, hiris
2 ulas bawang putih, hiris
1 batang serai, hiris
1 kiub tom yam "Maggi" (akak guna sambal ready made..wat sendiri, hehe)
6 ekor udang dibersihkan
1/2 cawan hirisan daging batang pinang
1/2 cawan nenas madu, yang telah dipotong kiub
6 biji cili padi, dititik
1 camca besar sos cili thai
Sos ikan secukup rasa (kalau tak de guna je garam)
1/4 cawan gajus, digorang
Hirisan daun bawang untuk hiasan
Bawang goreng untuk hiasan

CARA MEMBUATNYA :-)
  1. Panaskkan minyak dalam kuali, tumis bawang besar, bawang putih, serai dan cili padi hingga harum, masukkan kiub tom yam (hancurkan) bersama2 daging, kacau rata dan tambah sedikit air. Bila daging lembut, masukkan sos cili thai dan udang, kacau rata.
  2. Masukkan nenas, kacau dan tolak ke tepi kuali. Masukkan telur, dan kacau rata. Tambah nasi dan gaul, goreng dengan api besar. Tambah sedikit sos ikan dan rasa, jika perlu tambah lagi. Bila nasi kelihatan sedikit kering, boleh matikan api.
  3. Alih dalam bekas sesuai dan hias dengan taburan daun bawang, bawang goreng dan kacang gajus tadi. Hidangkan panas2..
CATATAN MAT GEBU :- Teknik menggoreng gajus yang mat tau ialah, letak kuali atas dapur, tuang minyak secukupnya, dan masukkan gajus (selalunya gajus mat basuh dan lap kering), kemudian hidupkan api pada kadar mininum, biar gajus tergoreng dalam keadaan begitu sehingga kuning keemasan, angkat dan toskan, letak atas paper towel, biar sejuk..

Spring onions paratha bread

This is very ez n nice too..thanx to my dear friend, Gert..for posting this recipe so apalagi, kita cilok arr, hehe....sedap, mkn ngan kari ayam...

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
2 tbsp melted butter
Enough water knead the dough
½ tsp salt

Fillings:

Some chopped spring onions
Some melted butter

1. Combined flour, butter and salt together. Rub the flour to get oil and salt well mixed. Then add water little by little, knead and make slightly stiff dough. Rest the dough for 20 to 30 minutes. Cover with wet towel, so that dough doesn't dry out.
2. Give the dough a few more knead and divide it into 6-8 balls of dough (depend on the size you like) and roll it out with a rolling pin.
3. Brush some butter and sprinkle some spring onions and roll it up like a Swiss roll. Coil it up and set it aside. Finish rolling the rest of the dough.
4. Flatten the paratha again with the rolling pin. Heat up a non stick pan, brush the pan lightly with some oil or butter and pan fried the paratha on both side until golden brown.
5. Serve with your favorite curry.

Apple crumble

Bahan-bahan
Untuk Crumble
  • 150g tepung gandum
  • 50g gula
  • 110g butter sejuk dr peti ais
  • sedikit garam
Untuk Inti
  • 3 biji epal - kupas dan potong dadu/slice
  • 2 sudu mkn gula perang
  • ½ sudu kecil serbuk cinnamon
Cara-cara
  • Satukan semua bhn crumble sehingga menjadi serbuk breadcrumb. ketepikan.
  • Dalam mangkuk lain, satukan semua bahan inti dan gaul sebati. Masukkan ke dalam
    mangkuk tahan panas yang telah dilengser dgn sedikit butter.
  • Masukkan inti. Tutup inti dengan menaburkan crumb tadi.
  • Bakar suhu 180 hingga kekuningan lebih kurang 30-40min.
  • Hidangkan dengan aiskrim atau sos kastad jika suka. Kalau suka makan sejuk, masukkan peti ais terlebih dahulu.

Cinnamon chocolate bundt cake

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
5 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup wholewheat flour (a change I made)
1 3/4 cups sugar (reduced from 2 cups)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup buttermilk (I substituted it with 1/2 cup milk + 1/2 tsp vinegar; stand for 5 minutes)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease a large bundt pan with cooking spray. Put butter, water, oil, and cocoa in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together both flours, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Then, add the buttermilk and baking soda. Mix together the eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla in a small bowl, and add to the batter. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 minutes. Allow cake to cool completely in the pan.

Fresh apple cake

X ingat ambik resipi ni kat mana..tuan punyer resipi...mintak amponnnnn....kalau ade sesape yg punye, bgtaw eh...

2 c tepung
1 sudu teh soda bikarbonat
1 sud teh serbuk buah pala
1/2 sudu teh serbuk kayu manis
3 biji telur A
1 c gula
1 c minyak sayur
2 sudu teh esen vanilla
3 c apple-dadu kecil
1/2 c kismis-cincang
1/2 c walnut-cincang

gaul tepung, soda bikarbonat, serbuk pala n kayu manis. ketepikan.
'whisk' telur. masukkan gula. masukkan minyak n esen. masukkan tepung tadi n gaul rata. masukkan apple, kismis n walnut. gaul rata. masukkan ke dalam loyang n bakar pada 180'c selama 1 jam.

Resipi asal dr Noormasri ni jun ambik kat umah Mamafami nih...dia buat mcm2 bentuk bun cantek2 tp sbb jun nk mkn ngan potato soup n fruit n vege salad ni, jun jadikan ler garlic buns..hehe. ok, ni resipi asal yek....

140 ml air
1 butir telur
30g gula kastor
1 sudu kecil garam
1/2 sudu kecil pelembut roti (mama tambah)
250g tepung high protein
50g tepung superfine
2-1/2 sudu besar susu tepung (mama gunakan susu tepung Fernleaf)
1-1/2 sudu kecil yis kering
30g majerin, pada suhu bilik
sosej secukupnya
Chocolate filling
Buah ceri untuk hiasan
Bijan untuk hiasan

Utk Sapuan:

1 biji telur + 1 sudu besar susu - campur
sket mentega

Kaedah penyediaan :

Campurkan semua bahan kecuali mentega dan uli sehingga membentuk doh. Masukkan mentega dan uli lagi sehingga licin dan elastik. Perap doh selama 1 jam atau sekali ganda.
Tumbuk doh dan bahagikan kepada 55g setiap satu bahagian.
Ambil satu bahagian doh, gentel memanjang dan gulung pd sosej yg telah direbus.
Susun di dalam loyang yg dilenser skit mentega.
Biarkan naik 2 kali ganda, sapu atasnya dgn campuran telur dan susu kemudian taburkan atasnya dgn keju cheddar.
Bakar pd suhu 170C selama 20 min. Bila masak sapu dgn sket mentega.


Lemon chicken

resipi lemon chicken to dr umah alongroz...

1 whole Chicken Breast - chopped to small pieces
1 tsp Black Pepper powder
1 tbsp Rice Flour
1 tbsp Plain Flour
Custard Flour - for coating
Salt

METHOD:
1. Mix all ingredients except custard flour.
Heat up oil for deep frying.
Roll battered chicken into custard flour & deep fry until golden.
Dish up.

SAUCE:
1/2 Lemon - squeeze juice & slice the rind*
(note: only used 1/4 lemon for rind. Remove the white part which has bitter taste.)
1 cup Water*
1 tbsp Custard Flour*
Honey, Sugar & Salt* (* mixed)
1 tbsp Butter

- Melt butter & add in * mixture.
- Boil until translucent.
- Pour on top of fried chicken.
- Serve hot.

Rendang ayam ala Minang


Salam semua..apakabar? heheh..akak lately ni mmg jarang betul update kan? maaflah ye...bukan x d masak2...bukan x d ambik2 gambar..adeeeee...tp tumpuan akak teralih sket kat benda lain...sbb ape? adalahhhhh....hahahha. so, blog ni terabai sementara waktu...mmg x dapat nk nolong la yek? nway, ni resipi rendang yg akak try..ambik dr umah kak Ina KL nih....so, kita copy aje..heheh..

Bahan-bahan:
  • 1 ekor ayam-potong 12-16 (akak guna ayam kampung..kalau ayam pencen aka ayam tua pun sodap ni..kalau daging-potong kiub yer..jangan besar..jgn kecik sgt.)
  • 20 batang cili kering - ikut kepedasan masing-masing*
  • 2 sudu besar jintan manis*
  • 2 sudu besar biji ketumbar*
  • 1/2 sudu besar jintan putih*
  • 1 sudu besar lada hitam*
  • 15 biji bawang merah#
  • 8 biji bawang putih#+
  • 1 inci lengkuas#
  • 2 inci kunyit hidup#
  • 6 batang serai#
  • 3 batang serai-tumbuk hujung
  • 3 helai daun kunyit-siat dan simpul
  • 1kg santan kelapa
  • 2 cawan air
  • 4 sudu makan kerisik
  • sedikit minyak
  • garam dan sedikit air asam jawa
  • nota..kalau guna ayam bandar masukkan ayam selepas masukkan santan..takut ayam hancurlah pulak..potong 12 yer
Cara menyediakannya
1. Sangai bahan-bahan bertanda * dan sejukkan sebelum di kisar hingga halus. Ketepikan.
2. Kisar pula bahan bertanda #. Ketepikan
3. Bersihkan ayam dan toskan.
4. Masukkan sedikit minyak dalam kuali dan bila minyak panas, tumis bahan-bahan bertanda #.
5. Setelah naik bau baru masukkan pula bahan-bahan bertanda # yang telah di kisar.
6. Bila dah naik bau, masukkan ayam , gaul rata dan biarkan kecut sekejap.
7. Masukkan pula santan pekat dan 2 cawan air. Biarkan santan merenih dan masukkan serai yang telah ditumbuk hujung dan daun kunyit.
8. Bila sudah agak pekat masukkan kerisik, garam dan sedikit air asam jawa. Rasa dan kacau sebati sehingga kering sedikit.
9. Bolehlah di hidangkan bersama nasi impit, lemang ataupun ketupat.

Chocolate & apple cake

Ingredients
250g (9oz) Plain Flour
25g (1oz) Cocoa
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Bicarbonate of soda
100g (4oz) Butter
250g (9oz) Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
A few drops of Vanilla Extract
175 ml. (6fl oz) Milk
2 Cooking Apples or Eating Apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped or grated

Icing
450g (1lb) icing sugar, sifted
25g (1oz) Cocoa
50g (2oz) Butter, softened
90ml. (3fl oz) Milk

Preheat oven to 180/350F/Gas 4. Grease a 20cm (8 in) square or round cake tin. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and bicarbonate. Put the sugar and butter into a bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Whisk in the eggs, one at a time. Add the vanilla extract. Whisk in the flour mixture and lastly add the chopped apples and milk. Spoon into tin and bake for 1 hour or till cooked...When cake is cold, make icing by beating all ingredients together, spread over cake and make a swirly pattern and pop on some chocolate drops.

Nutella brownies


Recipe found here...tp apsal jun punye ada lapisan kat atas tu ek? hehhe...these babies are really sweet woooo.(for m'taste la...)..takut mau makan, heheh...

½ cups All-purpose Flour
½ cups Cocoa Powder
¼ teaspoons Baking Powder
1 pinch Salt
1 cup Sugar
1 stick Butter, Melted
2 whole Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cups Nutella

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper. (Tip: I have also had success baking these in a 9×9.)

In a small bowl measure the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and whisk to combine. (Tip: Use a mesh strainer to sift the cocoa powder to get rid of lumps.)

In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter. Beat in the eggs one at a time until each is thoroughly combined. Then stir in the vanilla. Next, add the dry ingredients and mix gently until just incorporated.

Put the Nutella in a small bowl and microwave until runny (about 30 seconds). Using a rubber spatula, fold into the brownie mix.*

Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until top forms a crust. Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes.

Bingka pisang

Cakkkk! eh, lama dah x masuk umah sendiri ni..hehehe. kita g coti2 mesia...percutian yg plan gitu2...x jumpa sape2 sbb last min gitu...g sana sini pon g soping makanan jek..dok tambah kilo, hahaha....tp mmg berbaloi la..makanan jauh murah...half price dr kat KL ni..sedap pon sedap. kita sempat jalan 3 negeri skali gus..perak-penang-kedah....so, oklah..jom layan kue ni..sbb pisang ade sket jek, kita wat sket..resipi ikut resipi mamaella nih.

500gram Tepung gandum
800ml santan dari 11/2kelapa parut
1/2 sudu teh garam
1/2 sudu teh pewarna kuning
1/2 sudu teh esen vanilla
300 gram pisang
200ml air
5 biji telur
500 gram gula halus (caster0

Cara-caranya:

Pisang dibuang kulit nya dan dikisar dengan sedikit air.
Acuan muffin atau baulu di gris dgn minyak dan ketepikan dahulu.
Pukol telur dgn gula seingga kembang.
Masukkan santan,garam,vanilla, pewarna kuning, tepung dan pisang.
Pukol lagi sampai halus kemudian ditapis.
Panaskan ketuhar170-180darjah C, kemudian panaskan acuan-acuan kecil atau baulu yg hendak digunakan.
Tuang adunan kedalam acuan 3/4 penuh Bakar sehingga kekuning-kuningan dan masak.

Fish asam tumis

Resipi dr umah Alongroz ni...jun guna ikan merah...

1pair Fish Heads & Tail
5 Shallots*
2 cloves Garlic*
1/2" Ginger*
1" Galangal*
1 tsp Black Pepper corns*
1 tsp Fennel Seeds (* blended)
1 Lemongrass - bruised
1 cup Chili paste
Some Chili Padi - bruised
1 bowl Tamarind Juice
Salt & Sugar

METHOD:
1. Heat up some oil & fry bruised lemongrass & blended ingredients until fragrant.
Add in chili paste & chili padi & stir fry until fragrant.
Add in tamarind juice, salt, sugar and boil.
Add in Fish & cook until tender.

2. Serve with white rice.

Just like SUBWAY..or even better?

Garlic bread ni jun guna store bought french bread...tetiba rasa nk senang, malas nk uli sendiri...hihi. kali ni bakar garing sket..n letak cheese sket...cicah ngan mushroom soup tu..hmmmmm, yummy!

bawang putih-tumbuk or cincang halus

cheese (optional)-jun guna parmesan

campur bawang putih ngan butter rata2..sapu atas permukaan roti. bakar kejap (jun bakar dlm 10 min)..keluarkan..tabur cheese n parsley..bakar lagi (jun bakar dlm 5 min...bg crispy..)

Mushroom soup

Resipi dr Minami kat MyR.....senang j..rasa pon sedap jugak u.....skali skala bila x d stok (canned soup, heheh)..leh wat yg ni...

  • 1 keping dada ayam
  • 1500 ml air
  • 500 ml susu segar(susu kotak)
  • 1 ketul kiub ayam
  • 1 tin kecil cendawan butang(dihiris kecil2)
  • garam
  • secubit ajinomoto
  • 1 cawan tepung gandum

Cara-cara

  1. potong ayam kecil2. masukkan ayam dan air ke dalam periuk. rebus sehingga masak.
  2. masukkan susu dan kiub ayam. masak guna api yang perlahan. masukkan mushroom.
  3. masukkan bancuhan tepung dan kacau sehingga pekat. tambah perisa, garam dan ajinomoto.Siap utk dihidang. sedap dimakan dgn roti.
